ProfitBuddy.AI is a SaaS platform and Chrome extension built for Amazon FBA sellers. It helps users analyze products, estimate profits, and make ecommerce decisions using automation and AI.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly when using the service. This includes your name, email address, password, phone number for OTP verification, payment details processed through Stripe, and any support messages you send to us.

We also collect data from connected integrations such as Amazon Seller Central product listings and Google Sheets created or managed through our tools.

In addition, we automatically collect technical and usage data to improve security and performance, including:

  • IP address (for login and security)
  • Device and browser information
  • Login activity
  • Feature usage (clicks, actions, and analytics events)

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to operate and improve the platform. This includes creating and managing accounts, providing Amazon product analysis tools, processing subscriptions and free trials, and improving app performance.

We also use your data to send important service updates and optional marketing emails, and to detect fraud, abuse, or security issues.

AI (OpenAI) Usage

We use OpenAI to power product analysis features.

We send product-related data to OpenAI for processing. However, we do not permanently store AI prompts or AI-generated responses. Outputs are only used to display results inside your dashboard in real time.

Data Storage & Logs

We store essential account and system data required for the service to function properly. This includes account information, usage logs, system logs (errors and activity), and integration data from connected services like Amazon and Google Sheets.

Logs are used strictly for debugging, improving performance, and maintaining security.

Data Deletion

When you delete your account, all personal data associated with your account is permanently removed from our systems. This includes stored account data, connected integrations, and related logs.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data under any circumstances.

We only share necessary data with trusted third-party providers:

  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • OpenAI (AI processing)
  • Vercel (hosting infrastructure)

All third-party providers are required to maintain appropriate data security standards.
